i work as a handpoke tattoo artist based in san francisco. i’m from venezuela, grew up in mexico, and have lived in the US for most of my life now.

my practice explores the tension between randomness and deliberate action.

i turn to my intuition as a guiding force while drawing. i make spontaneous ink splatters on paper and later rearrange/layer/combine fragments to make tattoo flash.

translating chaotic and unpredictable marks into thoughtfully-composed designs is the process that feels most honest to me right now. it’s work that requires a synergy of spirit-body-mind and is most rewarding when shared with someone through the slow and controlled process of handpoking.

my tattoos often feature abstract shapes with raw edges, long tangled lines, and evenly-filled clusters of dots.

my hope is that my clients feel cared-for, listened-to, and inspired to tap into their intuitive decision-making power throughout our appointment and beyond.
